So, I'm settling in as I can. Making a few friends and stuff. Like I do.
Classes are alright. Honestly, I'm glad I'm taking most of the classes I'm enrolled in. Personally, I'm enjoying Man Choir and Beginning Piano the most, but that's just me. Not really enjoying my Freshman Writing class, but that may be in part of the fact that I have to get up at 6:45 three days out of the week for it. I'm really glad it's the weekend; definitely gonna stay up and stay in bed.
Like I said, I've been making some pretty neat friends.
First up, in no particular order, is Michael Magner, the guy who lives three doors down. Michael's pretty chill, kind of a cool guy. He also has an XBox 360 with a copy of Halo: Reach. I spend time over there kickin his butt most of the time when I've got nothing to do.
Then there's Isaac Ramos, who lives in the same room. Chill as well; dude's in my music fundamentals class. He's also gonna be a dj down here, which is pretty cool.
Next is Jeff Holmes. Jeff kind of comes with a slew of friend, so every time we hang out, I can expect that half the time it'll be with someone I haven't met or have only been briefly acquainted. Jeff's pretty awesome. I love hanging around him, especially since we talk about everything. He also keeps me on task, and I get him to relax and stop working for a bit.
Not making a ton of lady friends YET. Or rather, I'm not close with any of them, and that's more a choice than anything else. The way I see it, I'm here to make friends this semester. I've got too much to work on as far as school goes to even think about a relationship here.
But that's subject to change, as all things are. In my world, almost nothing is absolute, save for these few things.
There is always someone better.
God loves you.
Friends matter.
Getting up at 6:45 is awful.
So, yeah, those are my universal truths.
I hope you guys are doing well. Hit me up with a comment or whatever. Ask me things. I take suggestions and requests, too.
Peace!

First day of blogging
Hey, guys. It's me. So, I decided to set up a blog and stuff so you can keep track of what I'm doing. I figure I can post some more...I dunno, maybe stouter stuff and all that without needing to worry about who on facebook can see it. Plus, I figure it might be good for me to branch out and try something new. It might also encourage me to take pictures and post them, too.
Anyway, I'm not gonna edit this one post, so if there are grammatical or spelling errors, then that's just the way things go, but I just realized I don't have a ton of time to pound this out. I'd say I'm gonna keep this brief, but I probably won't.
So, I've been living in this dorm for about three weeks, now. Being in the city of Azusa has been nice, but there are a few drawbacks. Yes, there's sunshine, but there's also no rain. Maybe you can walk to many places, but anything out of reach, for me, is exactly that. I can't go anywhere that exceeds walking distance. Also, the drivers down here are down right awful. I almost got hit trying to cross the street by Citrus College.
The food here isn't great, which has been keeping me from overeating and eating too frequently. That, combined with the fact that I have to walk everywhere, is going to keep me from gaining weight. Hell, I might even lose weight while I'm down here.
My classes are goodish. Mon. Wed. Fri. are my early up days, with Wed. being my jam-packed day. Tuesday's my get up at ten day and i get up at eightish on Thursdays. Pretty okay sleep schedule.
Weekend life, as of right now, is kind of bland. Just kinda hanging around. Playin some video games with the guys next door and stuff, but other than that, it's kind of just a snooze.
Meeting some great people. Pics and stuff about them to come later, maybe even later tonight when I have more time to do this. All I can tell you is that they're pretty great people.
But yeah, that's what I've been up to in a very concise nutshell down here.
Stay sweet!
